After listening to a newer version of Pearl Woman's theme around 20 times in a row. I finally understood what some songs were missing. (and thanks to some crits by ~GatucaMan)
So out of boredom and 3 hours later, I made a different version of Magpulse Man's theme for my fangame. The biggest difference being the former version being a MMC5 version and this one ONLY using the 2a03/7.
In time I may do the others. But this is mainly to improve on making my music more Megaman-ish sounding.
The instruments were a bitch and a half to make, which was why it took 3 hours.
This is an experiment, hence why not all parts are done. Only to see if I got the Megaman song formula down better (and improve the triangle part better)
I'm keeping the other version too, as it's probably gonna stay in Magpulse's stage (for now at least).
I have an idea, if you are going to have a NES mode and Advanced Graphics mode, that technically means that the Advanced Graphics will not have 8-bit settings, so my advice is that the songs that were made with VRC6 go with the Advanced Graphics mode and the 2a03 songs go with the NES mode, just a though
You do have a valid point. It would make sense to do that. That's kinda what I have planned to do in the future.
How its gonna work is like this.
Normal Music will be in regular mode (Since apparently my music differs from the proper Megaman format, but hey, I wanted it in a unique style)
NES Mode will equal this type of music (2a03/5 channels)
VRC7 will have its own seperate mode.
And in the future, Complete Works Mode. (2012/13)
However the only songs that may not be 8-bit are the Final Boss theme. Reason being is because of this being the FINAL BOSS of the SERIES. A little bit of a surprise for those who played all the way through (and not on easy). truly epic music.
I still haven't forgotten about the MM Odyssey stuff though. I'll submit it within a few days to mid next week.
