Gift: Imp Woman theme -8-bit-by ~Mistergambit64

EDIT: Fixed the horrible steps.Now it looks much better. Also made the music in higher quality to get rid of the 6.66MB filesize.

Where do I begin with this?

This song took me about two months to do. What started as mere sprite request, I liked ~ByakuganAcolyte's robot mistress idea, so I decided to complete the set with Not only a sprite. But also her very own theme, and Stage art, which is a work in progress.

The stage art for this area was ULTRA difficult to do. The Things up at the top of the stage are Tapistries, which show Shade Man in the Tapestries. Since she's more or less supposed to be the Sister of the late Shade Man from MM7. It's supposed to take place in Tudor-type town. Admittingly the organ in the BG should have been smaller. but then again they're very close to the organ anyways when they're about to fight. I will give this art the revamp treatment like the other robot of Megaman F got.

I did start working on a rough stage for her, much like Fault, Acid and Smoke, just enough to get the basics of her stage fpr hahas.

Both these things took a lot of time, and although this theme doesn't sound haunting yet. I do plan in time in making a complete works/realistic sounding version soon with pipe organs and all that. That's what the middle of the song is supposed to be. but the 8-bit limits don't make it sound like it.

Anyways, this was a request from/and a birthday gift to ~ByakuganAcolyte I decided to do all of this as a gift/request to her, alongside the original sprite I did of Imp Woman. She is actually programmed in there and has some of her important animations (jump, intro animation, fly, etc.)

Anyways this is about 2 to even 2.5 months of hard work for you. Now I feel totally (try 150%) burnt out. I'm gonna rest for another couple of days.

(Changed the filesize. After looking closely. I didn't feel right in the stomach that my hardest musical composition was 6.66 MB. So I changed it.)

Actually I have. I have considered making a VRC7 version of my soundtrack in the future. But I gotta finish the rest of the songs I have left first.

The music reminds me less of Megaman and more of Cave Story, which is pretty damn neat. I got no problem with that.

It'd've been nicer if it were a loop, though.

The only way its a loop is if its the Famitracker file/NSF file. But DA doesn't support NSF files

I know 8bit Collective does. Granted, it's an entirely different site with an entirely different layout, NSF support is most definitely nothing to sneeze at.

Hey, Anytime. I'm glad you like it. I'll work on a non 8-bit version soon. I may try in the future making a unique Boss theme to her as well. But I'll worry about that once I rest up.

Though I didn't realize this resembled Castlevania's Bloody tears. anyways. Enjoy your gift. and Happy birthday!
