And here, is the last theme I had done recently, and oh lord, forget Genocide Man's theme being ultra difficult. This theme made Genocide Man's theme look like a walk in the park. Not only because it was a pain to render the concept theme into 8-bit. But because it consisted of two files.
One file for the beats, BG leads and effects. and the second file for the MAIN LEAD of the song. After completing them both I had to record them both and combine them both into ONE file. and make sure they started out at the same exact time. Down to the exact millisecond. And despite that is finished. I am going to update it once more, since it just doesn't have the impact the original chiptune had. I feel like it had lost that epic, "I am coming to put you down Dr. Wily, once and for all." feeling. To be blunt, I wasn't satisfied with the outcome. This took forever to do and yet I am not perfectly satisfied.
Regardless, this theme is more than likely gonna be the Wily Stage 1 theme for the game. I dont think its ultra impressive, but if anyone feels it is, feel free to comment. I haven't been much of myself since my break up. I am better but alone. With this being done though, I am taking a vacation from some of this stuff for a little bit. I am fully burnt out, still a slight bit down, and I just do not feel completely right.
If you guys want to listen to the original concept song, you can listen to it here...
(Yeah i am aware of the pitch bend, It's VideoLAN player's fault for having this glitch)
And no I haven't lost originality in my music. It's just Acid Man's theme and the theme I originally chose for this stage fit the stages they are in. I had tried to make different themes and they just didnt work. This is the last remix that will be done, other than Zero's concept theme. Wily stage 2-6 will have fully original music once again.
Peace out folks. I'll be back in a bit.
(this is getting one final update before being fully done) (the original "Fortress.mod" file was done by an artist called rymix)
UPDATE: I have done a bit more touching up to it and now it sounds a bit better, especially in the second half of the song. Now this song is FINISHED.
Even if he does have a "fangame", That music is for my game. Thats one thing if MMF was released already, but until its done, no one can use it for their fangame.
Also Sonic ideas in Megaman is not exactly a good idea. Chaos Man would be more fitting if he was based off something more evil...
I'm going to put a small theory. Crossovers suck nuff' said. I mean seriously? I find some crossover fangames have pretty ridiculous rosters. It's like asking every main character from all Non-Nintendo franchises to appear in Brawl. And speaking of Brawl, I can't believe Mega Man didn't made it in Brawl.
Most aren't really a great idea, but I do know a decent webcomic (Two Evil Scientists) that is a Mega Man and Sonic crossover. I actually have theories that they both live in the same universe, time-frame, and planet. And I noticed similarities too.
Well, blame yourself for making your own Pandora's box and opening it.
Megaman isn't in brawl except by hacking. Thank god he replaces Ness. Since I'm not too fond of earthbound characters in brawl. I had more of a gripe they replaced Mewtwo if anything.
However it's like what I said once to a friend about fangames. Making robots related to Mario or Sonic is uncreativity at its absolute worst. A throwback isn't a bad thing once in a while. Like Fault Man being a throwback to Descent 2's "Earthshaker Missile." And so forth. Hell Capcom did that too. Throwbacks to things.
However even if Sonic and Megaman are in a parallel universe or in the same one. That doesn't mean shit, because Sonic ideas in Megaman = Stupid as hell. The Sonic fanbase has an IQ below 0, and secondly Capcom wouldn't be caught dead putting a blue hedgehog for a robot master, and everyone knows that.
Just because I do music, or requests either. doesn't mean shit either. People have to understand the concept of do it your-fucking-self. A big number of "Fangame developers" have this problem. And expect everything to be done for them, but would freeze the moment they ACTUALLY had to do *gasp* Math or programming work.
Well, hacking is just weak idea. Most Brawl Hacks are just damn texture swaps.
To be honest, here's something I remember. Many ideas to put Sonic ideas in a Mario/Megaman/Earthbond/Zelda/Metal Gear/etc fangame is just clash. I seen something that did something pretty moronic, and crossover-ish. My game does have a few throwbacks. Like part of Toilet Man's stage is a SMB World 1-2 remake.
Though, I'm afraid you are doing shit for a certain guy. I seen no progression of coding, it's just one of games where only the sprites are being made.
MMA ( Megaman Adventures )
Besides, to be honest, I see absolutely no info on your fangame as it is. What is this MMTFC you are speaking of.

[link] Like that "Chaos" on the left.
And lemme guess. Its another "Megaman End Game.". Goddamn it. I know the idea isn't 100% original. But Jesus christ, why do people even try?
